Just sat in this restaurant for more than 45 mins after placing our order and still no drinks even. There was no one else in the restaurant except employees, one of which was sitting up front on his cell phone. I am sure I have now said enough.?
Food was outstandly good , service great, staff very friendly ..
Good service, good food
Excellent fast service really nice environment not too expensive food was delicious
MoreService was great.
Great food, friendly service, prices are right
The foods great my only compaint is the tamales are a little dry and a couple of the ones i had were smaller then the others other than that great food great service
MoreNice place.. good food.
Ordered chile rellenos with "steak" and flan for take out. Food was piping hot, excepting the flan as it should be.The Good: Fresh , hot, delicous flavors. Hearty portions of main item. A bit light on the beans and rice but that's likely due to the takeout container compartment sizes. Flan was also good.Online order and pay option.Support a local, no franchise business. The less than good: The steak was small cubes and a fair portion of it had gristle. I wasn't expecting filet mignon, but was disappointed with my choice. That's really on me for not asking about what kind of steak was being used. There was an option for shredded beef, and that will be my choice next time.Overall, I recommend this small, family operated business for a quality product.
MoreI was told this was the best mexican restaurant in town. It was ok had to have sons burrito microwaved cause it wasnt warm and cheese was not melted tamales do need a little help. Drinks were decent.
MoreBoth service and food was great as always
Nice place and people here. Got a chimichanga.
I was amazed at how inexpensive our meal was. The food was ok, but for the price it was great. Kids menu is a huge bargain. There aren't a ton of food options in the area and we stopped for dinner on our way up to noise. The only thing we did not like was the nachos. The velveeta cheese was surprising and not very good. Not to mention the nachos were the most expensive thing we orderd... by double!
MoreI wasn't really in to the food last time it tasted like the soap they cleaned the grill with taco truck down the street is way better in my opinion save your cash and enjoy the taco truck more right down the street
MoreAfter a drive to and from Twin Falls, I remembered the great little Mexican restaurant we hit a few months ago on a road trip. I couldn't remember the name but I remembered the general location, the amazing spicy salsa and the cleanliness of this joint. My memory served me and we found the warm, welcoming spot with cold beer and amazing salsa and chips. The beer is still cold, the food was delicious and the other customers were happy and friendly. The stream of customers is testimony to the prices and quality of food and service. I overheard the nice waitress ask and give some customers a military (current and retired) a discount. Good from top to bottom. Don't pass this gem in or out of Boise. It's worth the stop...absolutely.
MoreThis place is awesome! You get great food at a good price and it's delicious every time. I go here with my girlfriend and it's one of our favorite spots in town. Absolutely love their breakfast burritos. :)
MoreThe smothered burritos were great!
The red salsa has a nice kick to it that didn't over whelm the favor. The green salsa is mild but flavorful. Bean dip is included in the chips and salsa course. I had the sopas, they were nicely done (not pucks). The front door looks like a back door, there is a lip that even the beer delivery guy was having trouble getting his dolly up.
MoreSuch delicious food and great service! The restaurant is clean and nice. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Great place to eat in Mountain Home.
MoreGood authentic Mexican food, fair prices and great customer service.
Best Mexican restaurant in the Mountain Home area. Chips came with multiple salsas and bean dip. Main course was as good as it gets in mountain Home. Customer service was quick and friendly.👍
MoreGood food long wait
Loved it all the way around..great food great service
I am very disappointed in the quality of the food. I found it to be bland and tasteless. The wait staff are nice, however not very attentive. And there were flies all over. my daughter and I killed 4 if the nasty beings before we had finished our food. I'm not sure of all the hype this place has. Maybe I'm missing something.
MoreAwful. The food tastes like it was leftover a few days. It started to get hard and dry before our party of 5 got half done. The potatoes they offer are literally a crinkle cut fry that is chopped at the crinkles. I would not suggest this place to anyone.
Morevery nice waitress. lifesaver on a long road trip. food was good and a very fair price.
MoreAlways great service! And I have to say they have the best menudo I've tasted since my Mom was alive!!
MoreThe best Mexican restaurant in Mountain Home, Idaho. Their newly remodeled (2017) seating area was sorely needed. Chancla Burrito is huge and tasty.
MoreGenerous portions. Authentico. Friendly. Besteak is great. Chili Rienos great too.
MoreExcellent price/quality. Carne asada was very good.
Nice little local place to get excellent mexican food!! You will not be disappointed.
MoreThere chips and salsa were amazing, the food was very bland and couldn't get my order right. No beans and extra rice. It wasn't even busy. There was only 2 other couples in therr
MoreLove the food, very delicious. We been coming up from New Mexico and we've tried so many other places on our trip up and I say that this is the closest that made it felt like home. Would recommend it and the server did an outstanding job.
MoreBerry good Mexican food
Paid $20 for a meal to share with my wife. It had so much oil it wasnt very edible! The oil seeped out of box into plastic bag before we could even open the lid. I only walked next door to the bar to have our lunch with a drink. Wont be going back. Service was good, but not the food!
MoreFood's good. I really like the salsa. Has a good kick to it. I got the sopes with adobada (pork). It has their green salsa on it with sour cream, cheese and lettuce. It was very tasty.
MoreStraight up generic Mexican food. Steak was fatty, chicken was way overcooked, veggies were good though
MoreThe food was amazing as was the service. My wife was so excited to find foods she hasn't found since her visit to new Mexico in 2004 :)
MoreService was terrible. Food was okay but our meal came out then 5 minutes later our tamales was served! My girlfriends tamale was served with plastic on top of it and was super dry. Also had to fight with flies while trying to enjoy our meal.
MoreHorchata was mostly water had no taste to it at all.. My beans where kind of cold but the sopes where good.
MoreGood food and great service. Coming back soon
Great food, fast service, friendly staff!
Great food at a great price! The Tapas are excellent!
Best tasting Mexican food that we've had so far. Friendly service and prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend this hidden Mountain Home gem.
MoreWhoa! That salsa is spicy, it’s good though. I had the 3 chicken enchiladas with rice and beans topped with red sauce. I’ve never had red sauce before. I’m from Texas and always have sour cream sauce on my enchiladas but it was really good! The corn tortillas were delicious. I only wish they had queso dip to order with chips and salsa. I’ve gotta have my queso! But overall I definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to try more on the menu!
MoreFood is bland tasting. I ordered tostadas. Covered in crema which is not my favorite. This wasn't on the menu or I would have told them to leave it off. The green salsa was tasty. Beans had very little seasoning.
MoreHere's the hard thing with Mexican restaurants that I learned over the years. We went there once with my father and my niece and nephew they were a little bit busy which I could understand. But they missed my father's foodand they didn't realize they were going to bring it until me and my niece and nephew were done. If you're looking for a good Mexican I would go to Boise, ID. You know that if you're going to be busy more waiters and waitresses. Check on your customers often and make sure you write down what they want so you don't forget. Check with your cook also with your customers food.the only thing they have going for them that I will highly recommend is there menudo.
MoreAlways great food and good service
Really good food. Great staff...the first time we went there. Second time we ordered for take out. They screwed up our entire order. Asked for chicken fajitas, they gave us beef. Asked for ground beef in a chimey changa and got shredded beef. Also got ranch instead of sour cream. Probably just a one time thing but disappointing. Hopefully next time will be better.
MoreFriend got the Chile rellenos and loved them and I got the carne asada and it was fantastic! Great place. Great food. Great people!
MoreFantastic !!!!! One of the things I ordered was a shredded beef burrito supreme. OMG it was huge and very delicious . Will definitely be eating here again.
